The Premier League isn’t exactly short of actors, in fact the likes of Diego Costa, Ashley Young, and Wilfried Zaha could comfortably give Andrew Garfield and Casey Affleck a run for their money.
With the Oscars around the corner we decided to celebrate the drama of the English top flight in the form of Oscar nominees and winners from this year and days gone by.
It’s been an interesting season so far so it was tough knowing where to even start. An American in Swansea was tossed away quicker than Bob Bradley’s reign, while Leicester have certainly Gone with the Wins. If Mata didn’t seem such a lovely chap we’d have certainly classed him as Rogue Juan and Liverpool’s Premier League plight in recent months could be compared to Crash, Suicide Squad, and Passengers.
